Our Grand Master was born September 1, 1964, the son of Edgar (E.L.) and Joyce Stout in Glasgow, Kentucky. He attended Temple Hill Elementary school and graduated from Barren County High School in 1982. He was in the Printing Ink Business for over 28 years traveling most of those years across our nation and internationally on business. He is currently employed at Onesource Water as an Account Executive. He is married to Cindy (Morrison) Stout and they have one son Logan. He has a daughter Kacey and two grandsons Kaden and Jackson Eli. He and his wife attend Southside Christian Church in Versailles, KY where they reside.

Brother Stout was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in February 2000. He served as Master of Landmark Lodge No. 41 in 2003, he served the Grand Lodge of Kentucky Free and Accepted Masons as District Deputy Grand Master of District 25 in 2003-2004, (currently district # 20) served as Master of William O Ware Lodge of Research in 2004, served as Chairman on the Committee of Masonic Education from 2005 ? 2007. He served as Grand Marshal of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky Free and Accepted Masons in 2007-2008. He served as Chairman on the Committee for Masons Helping Masons for the Grand Lodge of Kentucky in 2008-2009. He was elected as the Grand Junior Warden of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky in October of 2009, as Grand Senior Warden in October of 2010, Deputy Grand Master in October of 2011 and was elected as Grand Master of Masons in Kentucky on October 16, 2012.

Brother Stout is a life member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in the Valley of Lexington Orient of Kentucky. He is a Charter Member of the Lake Cumberland Scottish Rite Club in Burnside, KY. He is a life member of the Allen County Scottish Rite Club in Scottsville, KY. He is a Past Master of Kadosh in the 32nd degree for the Consistory and Past Wise Master in the 18th degree Chapter of Rose Croix in the Valley of Lexington. He is a member of the Scottish Rite Research Society. Brother Stout was honored with the Knight Commander Court of Honour (KCCH) in 2005; and was coroneted Inspector General Honorary 33rd degree in 2011.

Brother Stout is a member of the York Rite Bodies in Lexington, Kosair Shrine Temple in Louisville and Oleika Shrine Temple in Lexington. A Life Member of the Society of Past Masters of Central Kentucky, a Charter Member of the Appalachian Past Masters Society 2010, Life Member of the Lakeland Past Masters Society 2011, Life Member of the Southern Kentucky Past Master?s Society 2012, he received the DeMolay Honorary Legion of Honor in 2012, He is a member of the North Central York Rite College No. 116 and is a member of the Royal Order of Scotland. He and his wife are members of the Eastern Star in Nicholasville Chapter No. 223. He has been honored to receive several honorary memberships in various organizations and symbolic lodges across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and other Grand Jurisdictions. Brother Chris does C.A.R. E. about our great fraternity and has served the Commonwealth with integrity and respect. May GOD guide, guard and protect you now and in the future.

It was my honor to serve on this committee this year and I look forward to seeing and attending Lodge with Brother Chris at Landmark Lodge No. 41 in the years to come.
