PHILANTHROPIST OF THE YEAR
Kosair Charities has been providing funding for pediatric healthcare in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area for over 75 years. In the last year alone, Kosair Charities provided over $7.4 million to help individual children and numerous agencies that serve the needs of children.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2002 Kosair Charities received the Philanthropist of the Year Award. This award is presented to anyone with a proven record of exceptional generosity, who, through direct financial support, has demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable responsibility, and whose generosity encourages others to take philanthropic leadership roles in our community.
